I use it in my planetarium. I've deliberately included my bedroom light shade in my photo, which is just visible to the left of the image. Hope this helps.

The sidereal rotation can be selected as either clockwise or anti-clockwise, but the speed, which I feel is slightly too fast, cannot be adjusted. it is that good! Be aware that, if you have a light fitting or any wall furniture within the range of the image, it will obviously detract from the realism a bit.

My only bug bear with it is the limited amount of discs and they are only licensed to one company. I like to set the timer for one hour, as I'm going to sleep. ***IMAGES*** (don't do it justice)Northern Hemisphere - included(Blue) Disappearing Continent - purchased separately.

I fell in love with this product as soon as I switched it on. So, after the unboxing ritual - and the box is quite a work of art that you will want to retain, you get the projector in a beautiful silky black finish, two Northern Hemisphere disks - one showing the constellation outlines and one with just natural stars, a USB power lead with UK plug adapter, user manual and a nicely printed star poster. I think there is so much more scope and potential with this bit of kit. If you are listening to background music you won't notice it, but honestly is not an issue.

Overall this is a fantastic item and very special in what it does, albeit pricey. I have been continplating purchasing the Sega Flux for some time, however had initially been put off by mixed reviews stating that the quality of images were poor / blurry, plus the price is expensive. It’s very easy to use, the rotation is great, detail is good & we love the shooting star feature.
