This works well and gives my fine hair a bit of texture that makes a blow out style hold and look good. I have thick, curly coarse hair and regularly do blow outs. I don't use much heat when I blow dry so I don't think I'm not really using the full force of the heat protection but my hair does feel less dry and damaged. The jelly is thick in hand but once you put it through your damp/wet hair it becomes thin.

My hair does take about an hour to blow out and straighten normally. It isn't greasy or thick. With this jelly, it went from an hour on average to 20 minutes from completely wet to dry and stick straight. I do think that some of the product will be wasted at the bottom of the tube because of its shape but other than that it's great.
