You'll need a hacksaw or similar to cut the metal bar to size. However, now it is up I am happy with the purchase. Ends and rings are black plastic but seem sturdy enough.

We did have to get a hacksaw as the initial length was too long but that 2£ plus the price of this was still much cheaper than any alternatives. See pics.

Most definitely recommend Bought based on the reviews. I fitted this myself over 2 x days and did find it difficult.

Using curtains with fabric loops would require threading the loops before Installing as there are no bypass brackets. Bend into shape on the corners which was very easy to do and install. However, this is a very easy solution to fit curtain rails in an otherwise tricky location. The curtain rail ends up study and the curtains travel smoothly.
