I had been wanting to find a good little point-and-shoot for a while, because I run into the problem a lot, of wanting to take nice photos wherever I'm going, but not wanting to bring my 6D in fear of it getting damaged or stolen. Maintained a setting of "underwater" specifically for close-up shots but not the macro setting. I have owned the Panasonic Lumix, the Nikon Coolpix, and my friend has the Fuji waterproof one. You have to open it back up and make sure battery is properly seated.

Really good! It is simple and easy to use. Attached picture was shot in RAW + Fine JPG, 16MP, no post processing on either image except to export from Lightroom 6, crop, compose, and save in Photoshop CS3. There were only a couple of things that I didn't like: #1 the battery life seems to go quickly, so buy extra batteries, and a quick charge plug in.

The photo quality is amazing for a point-and-shoot. The only thing I didn't like was the small amount of optical zoom (4x), but I knew this when I bought the camera.

The battery lasted all day with no problem, I did turn it off if I wasn't using it. I am a photographer and normally would prefer to shoot with my Canon 6D.

There is also microscopic mode for micro stuff. It also has a good set of filters and creative modes. I highly recommend this camera for anyone involved in underwater sports or activities.
