Other reviewers mention the scroll wheel not doing what they need. I bought it in 2018. ===Update: To be fair there is a speed scroll feature of the mouse that is enabled by clicking the scroll wheel, however there is no clicky feel on it as on the MX Master.

One of the things I didn't like initially is the scroll wheel - it spins very freely, so it's easy to over spin it when scrolling down pages - basically, small, controlled scrolling is fine, but when you want to quickly move down a long page you can easily overshoot the mark as the wheel keeps spinning after you want it to stop. A well-made product that works with my iMac and iPad. Cons:• Does not have the Speed Adaptive scroll that MX Master has, might be due to not enough space.

According to Logitech the Darkfield laser requires at least 4mm thick surface to be able to work. In summary, this portable mouse is a reliable companion for Mac users who need a mouse that can handle any surface and boasts impressive battery life.

• I had no issues while using the mouse on any surface so far. It's also very nicely presented in the box, so would be nice as a present for any nerds you know with birthdays coming up. On and off switch underneath to conserve internal battery. I have it connected to my MacBook Pro, never lost a connection, never stalls etc as other mouse makes have done.

Charging was quick, and you can continue to use it while it's charging. Moreover, the long battery life has proven to be a real game-changer for someone who is always on the move.
