My older ones, aged 4 and just under 7, became enthusiastic about puzzle building just a few months ago. I bought these for my granddaughter’s 4th birthday in October.

My youngest is already enjoying it at the age of 2 or just under 3 and also assembles 40 pieces after 2x with help alone. My only gripe is that they did not come separated in the box (See picture) however someone may have a child that may like that initial challenge or even leave them that way, so to each their own. I’ve had these ravensburger jigsaws before and they usually come in different packs or made up so you know what pieces belong to what puzzle. Not the thick cardboard parents will be use to moving from thicker puzzle sets.

I would buy this brand again. They are not flimsy and do not bend easily. I gave a rating of 4 because the order was very late and delivered a week after her birthday.

In this instance all the pieces are mixed up which isn’t great for my kids to work out. I have specially labelled them at the back so that the middle parts are easier to recognize. 🙈 The recommended age is relative to 3+, simply depending on the child's preferences.
They are easy to put together. A frustrating start looking for the pieces that are large for the 12 piece jigsaw, can’t wait until I get to the 24 piece one! I did all the puzzles then flipped them and labeled them A-D and stored them in compartmentalized container for my twins because they are just getting into puzzles regularly. I bought the puzzle as a change from the bigger ones, because it's fun to quickly build 4 small ones one after the other.
All 4 are the same size, but the parts themselves never become any more. The pictures seem to be attached pretty well.
