Please do buy this and read it if it’s on your TBR list Very disappointing as a book I would have happily re-read. It's so well written Akhileus was not even 18 when he entered the war against Troy, which is very important to know, because the kings of all the Achaian nations had sworn to stand at the side of the one whom Helena of Sparta would choose as her husband (all were suitors for her hand because of her beauty), but at that time Akhileus was still too young to be a suitor so he never took the same oath.

He could leave the battlefield at Troy at will without losing his honour. I enjoyed reading it so much i purchased Circe, the authors later book with the hopes of loving it just as much. This is my second time trying to read this book.
