An incredible story about the last team out of Kabul. An eye opening insight into a career on a different level. Unputdownable!

I could feel the emotion from the pages and could not put it down. You cannot get any better of a true story. Well done H

all the emotions that make you laugh one minute and shed a tear the next. Reading the accounts of attacks and death tolls, mostly civilian, brought into stark relief the horror that contractors, to allow them to operate effectively, have to become inured to and face with a cold pragmatism. I definitely would recommend this book.

If you haven't got this book in your basket, go buy it now! From the moment I picked up the book I could not put it down, a real rollercoaster of emotions. I loved this book & couldn't put it down, it was a great insight into the life of a Royal Marine who transitioned into the private security world, a genuine on the ground account of what has been major news for the last 20 years & probably a unintended book on leadership, loyalty & brotherhood. It has made me realise it’s only myself holding me back and only I can change that.

A most unapologetic, honest account of the life of a contractor operating some of the harshest climates in modern history. I had to buy this one.
