Needless to say I'm happy about this! Oh and 8 player smash is absolutely amazing, there's really nothing like that level of chaos.
Unlike most of the salty people here, I got two adapters relatively easy, first one came with my Smash Bros for an added £10 and my second Amazon had to give me for the preorder price and a week after launch they sent me it for £17. Although I got both of mine for less than £30 , I wouldn't buy one for more than that, as it only works for the one game. It works great, no lag, it's made well and doesn't get in the way, in fact because it has wires itself it pretty much extends the reach of the gamecube pads I've got.
