Because of the light coloured wood they look better than the original. Great product, quick delivery. The original brush broke about 2 years ago and has been falling apart ever since.

Whereas this replacement is solid wood with good secure bristles. Plus great value as there were 2 in the pack, so eventually when the bristles wear out I will be able to fit the second one. The brush looks fine with the handle screwed in, looking forward to using the brush when I remake the fire tomorrow👍

They also look really nice on our fireside set. The metal work is fine but the brush fitting was cheap and nasty plastic.

Thank goodness for this product which has made it possible to repair rather than discard the original. It was really easy to fit onto the original brush.

Thank you ‘The Dustpan & Brush store’ Pickering Good quality product, I just changed the head of the broom for the chimney, it cost me less than buying a complete broom! I decided to use my original metal cover to go over the head (as in my picture), but it also looks good without this as the head has an attractive wooden base. Delivered next day and fit perfectly.

Very impressed with these replacement brush heads. There are plenty of bristles to give a good, solid sweep.

They appear really well made. The handle fitted perfectly into the replacement brush head. Having a spare is also a bonus as the bristles generically have a tendency to wear quickly.
