So, I needed to get a filter cover and found this one and liked the Carbon Fiber look (Carbon Fiber looks like Hydrodipped - don't get me wrong it's still a good finish). Easy install and exactly what I was looking for.

The metal shield bends fairly easily, you need to be careful not to use too much force otherwise I could see it bending at an angle as opposed to staying rounded. The carbon fiber hood I installed on my car has hood louvers which exposed part of my air filter and was worried about water falling in but this filter cover worked out great, it is very adjustable as well. Not only does it look good, but it works great for what I’m using it for.
