I did see however a really neat cooks blowtorch for a bargain price. Back on Amazon I spied this Campingaz blowtorch, well I recognised the manufacturer from my camping days so I thought I’d give it a shot. Well the neat little blowtorch might be great for flambé but they certainly aren’t powerful or hot enough for what I needed. .
I imagine it’s fine for the occasional job but if you plan on doing a lot of hard/soft soldering or paint stripping perhaps you should spend a bit more. When I needed to do some brazing ( hard soldering) I looked on Amazon to buy another one.
I’ve attached a photo of the little block (centre of pic. ) and has a fierce roaring flame. Fires up with its own piezoelectric spark ( had to use matches with the Ronson. Ronson probably doesn’t exist anymore they certainly don’t do blowtorches.
