You will also need a small phillips to take it apart completely. Thanks to this, my ps4 is now qhisper quiet and I was able to clean out this horrendously clogged heatsink.

So, I looked up what I needed, watched some guides and bought the stuff. This torx t8 screwdriver has a security bit, which means it has a little hole in the tip, and is what the launch ps4 needs. The screwdrive is strong, doesnt feel flimsy and has a high level of durability so its a strong product. But for a ps4 original, this screwdriver is what you need.

My original launch PS4 was as loud as a jet engine. It decibels literally reverberated my eardrums and mucous membranes. Bear in mind that different ps4 versions (slim, pro) may use slightly different screwdrivers, some people say they had to use a T9, instead of a T8.

This screwdriver does the job for opening ps4s when conducting maintenance and cleaning.
