Spins down for low power when not running backups or virus scans. It doesn't make noise and does what was promised in terms of reading and writing speed. The Pro version is more reliable and faster.

The low spin hum and access noise is audible but not bothersome for use in desktops or workstations. I use multiple NVME 4. No issues. Thank you!
