It will fit a kids room with a harry potter theme. Also you need to be a bit closer to the candle to reOrwly turn it on. The candle is too plastic for it to fit as a living room decor.

It looks like a plastic candle, not very realistic or anything so I wouldn't use it as decoration except maybe during spooky season. My family are some hardcore Harry Potter fans so this "magic" candle was a hit with everyone.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect for any ghoul or gal who needs a little magic to light up their life! There is button to press on the wand to turn on. So if you lose the wand you will end up with a fun HP paperweight.

So far, I'm completely happy with this purchase. The wand is too short for it to be considered a collectible. I don't typically like or use fake candles, but I have a lantern that I decorate seasonally, and I worry about the flames from real candles causing a fire.
