Firstly the leather (protein leather) is very similar to the existing. This isn't just a replacement, it's an upgrade.

After heavy use at least four hours daily I needed new pads. The foam is slightly firmer which may soften up but it's as comfortable. Absolutely perfect fit, feels even better than the original ones! Also these pads are a little thicker than the stock ones (see 2nd photo), but they have the same squishiness.

If you're looking to replace your WH-H900N ear pads, look no further :) Definitely worth the price to avoid buying new headphones. They are a little stiff out of the box compared to my old ones, but I’m certain they just need to be worn in over time.

Overall great replacement and the business which sells these also has a video on YouTube which shows you how to replace them with the included tool. I’ve had my Sony Hear on 2 headphones for over two years and couldn’t be happier, but one of the earcups got two holes in it and is noticeably worn out. Also, I find the black color nicer than the grey, IMO. Super happy with purchase.
