The cards are quite think but sturdy enough (more like a playing cards thicknesa dn they are laminated so are wipe clean. Lovely laminated feel to the cards. Side note: People are reviewing this product based on the 'letters' than words. I have noticed with a couple of the words are in America i.

The age on the card says 4+ but I don't think that's true as my 18 month is using these very well! He does show an interest in these and seems to find some of the words hilarious along with the sounds that mummy makes, lion and car for example. Very good item, my little boy loves going through them but the only issue is that Trousers are listed as pants so I checked the back of the box and they are made in the USA these are America. Only downside, some words like 'pants' is not used in the UK for trousers.

. Easy for my 2 year old to recognise the pictures and understand the words! The cards are aimed at 4+ but I bought these for my 1 year old, and look through them with a couple of the basic words.

Lovely bright colours and clear pictures. ) But we will continue to use them as she gets older for phonics, spelling and reading too. I will just remove that card from the pack. Nice big words.
