For me it's worth the expense. Love it :) Great, had Nespresso compatible machine before and is nothing to compare with original one. So this doesn't really apply to me as to be fair I've never had or heard of it before.

I love that the pods can be recycled for free. Any order can include a free recycling bag that holds 200 pods. This can then be collected by nespresso for free, or you can drop it off at a parcel point or boutique if you live near one. -recycling.

Heats up quickly and comes with a nice selection of pods to start you off. Also bought a coffee selection on amazon and couldnt be happier. If you are used to a large cup of coffee you may want to look into the vertuo range from nespresso.

! It's important to note that you can only order coffee in 50s as they ship in prefab boxes. For whatever reason the black one was super cheap for just £89 when the other colours were £129.

Speaks for itself really, no faffing with thermometers waiting for boiling water to cool etc. All in all, for me, it's very much worth the slightly extra expense in order to get delicious quality, coffee from an environmentally conscious company. -can be expensive.

Worth spending money But unlike the larger machines this one lacks a ristretto setting. One thing to bare in mind though, if you like a large cup you can always top a lungo or espresso up with another run of the machine sans pod for just water.
