The only downside (which again is a minor issue) is the sound the keys make when typing - it's a lot louder than I anticipated so be warned. Amazon. The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless HyperMagnetic is an exceptional gaming keyboard in every way.

Hall Effect switches can last well into the billions of keypresses, as historically they were designed to provide the best possible reliability in aerospace and military applications. I really hope this isn't the last time we see Hall Effect switches in a modern keyboard, because these simply beat every other "gamer switch" on the market right now - no contest. .

Overall I would give the product a solid 4. Cons:- Fairly light, although this is likely for portability. But its appeal goes beyond aesthetics; each key is designed to offer tactile feedback and response efficiency that transforms every touch into an immersive, tactile experience. In terms of gaming; I tweaked the actuation force to the lowest it could go and gave it a spin on Minecraft (yes I know, trust me I'm going to test the keyboard with an FPS soon) my goodness was it super responsive so much so I saved myself very quickly from falling to my death in the game.

- Keycap font is bold and elegant. I love the keyboard design, it's sleek and has a premium feel. You can turn the lights off too using the dedicated keyboard shortcuts which is a bonus too.
