10 frames per second — if you want to take advantage of this, you'll have to sort out and delete a lot later. In no case did I want to do without the second card slot to separate pictures and videos. The D500 does not have such “amenities” on board.

In terms of noise and autofocus, there is nothing better in the APS-C segment. For me, it doesn't have a problem, all my cases are in English. Itested the D500 outdoor and indoor at documenta 14 in Kassel.

Without mentioning all the other great features,it is definitely a worthy successor to the not quite so legendary D300/K Short list of positive and negative aspects (as of May 2016, still updated):Pro:- fits very well in the hand- key positioning like the D750/D7200- very light for the housing size (760gr)- extremely faster/accurate autofocus- noise behaviour still at ISO 6400 very good! First try, sensitivity: AWESOME! (I wish for the Dfat least the autofocus module of the D700)With the D500 the AF sits - it simply sits even in low light conditions, and this gives me security as ahobby photographer,.

I bought this case for my son photographer, so he writes this review. Very convenient is the fast setting of the focus point and focusing in the live view.

Everyone knows that the D500 is a high-speed camera, so I don't have to miss it. The shutter release can be operated very gently. In this sense, Nikon has long been waiting.
