My little guy sleeps so well in it and has always been a great sleeper. He has just turned 2 months old and sleeping through the night. The arms are designed so that he can keep them up by his face, but not fully extend them which keeps him from startling himself. There isn't as much leg room as the picture would lead you to believe, my sons feet touch the bottom of the sack, but it isn't a problem since the whole point of swaddling is to somewhat simulate the womb right?

We ordered another in a different color so we have one to rotate in case we don't catch his spit-up in time during the night (our peanut has reflux) and we also purchased a medium that just arrived today so we can have one on hand for when he gets a bit bigger. !

This has meant we have been able to enforce his bedtime instead of him going past tired up until midnight and then sleeping for 12 hours on and off then. Would 100% recommend. I recommend them to everyone.

But he did enjoy it the one time he wore it having his arms up! As other reviewers have stated, he looks like a little baby seal. When we give him a bottle and he tries to bring his hands close to his face it looks like he's trying to hold the bottle with his little flippers and I almost die from the level of cute! She loves having her arms up and it makes it easier to see if she’s hungry (see: wet swaddle arm 😂).

If he sleeps in it overnight he’ll often wake up cold so you’ll want a warmer one or to put clothes on them before swaddling if your house is around that temp with AC. In regards to sizing, I think it's true to size. We’re excited to use the transition swaddles when he gets to that point but I’ll miss seeing him squish his chubby cheeks in the adorable arms up position with these original swaddles!

Our baby LOVES to have her arms up. My baby loves these swaddles! As soon as we started using them we noticed a big improvement in her sleeping. I was worried after reading the reviews since most said that it runs small, but I believe it is supposed to be somewhat tight.

This is a total newborn must have! We got him his first one at a couple weeks old, he’s 6 weeks now and smiles every time I put him in one.
