Narrator Jules is gullible, naive, and damaged by past trauma. Seriously, I'm not just a random reviewer praising for praise sake. I couldn’t put the book down and loved the surprising twists and uncertainty that lingers throughout the book.

Opening with narrator Jude telling the story of the car crash that changed her life when she was seventeen, it immediately holds your attention. I’ve been a fan of their books for decades, though it’s been a few years since I last read one of them. I was reading the book as part of a readalong with other bloggers organised by the Tandem Collective but found myself racing ahead as I was overtaken by a desperate need for answers.
