Finding a red one, and one without markings might take some research. As you can see I added a Pectoral Cross, red Bishops ring, red shoes, and a red cloak, all purchased from Amazon.
The "Zuccetto" or skull cap while it does work and would probably be good enough for most people, it a bit too large. One other thing I would recommend.
There are a couple of fairly simple remedies. I personally would just use the velcro unless you're going to use it multiple times. .
You could also make one from a thicker fabric, or even a wide ribbon. And another at the point where you want to fasten it.
