My daughter's piano teacher recommended this book. Only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I purchased it brand new but it appears to be used. I bought both of them as I wasn't sure which would be more suitable for my daughters (8 & 7 y. You WILL WANT these!

I'd recommend this for the little ones. I would recommend a bronze rod because they have bronze grommets. We just started the lessons and my daughter is very excited

The corner of the book is stained, as seen in the picture. (I can play very simple/very easy scores) and they are tiny.
Yes, you get what you pay for. This may not be ideal for adult beginners as you would find it way to easy. This book is an easier version of Teaching Little Fingers to Play: A Book for the Earliest Beginner (John Thompsons Modern Course for The Piano) . Perfect hems and beautiful backing.
