For this price, the least I'd expect is a proper plug. It's just needless hassle.

I don't imagine that I will use the slower or variable speeds much. The first few times I used it I felt as though I'd had my teeth cleaned at the dentist, it's that good. Pushing the power button cycles it through several modes. After a while you get used to that feeling so you're in danger of getting used to just how good it is and not fully appreciating what a great job it's doing for your oral health.

That's with me brushing twice a day and about 2 minutes each time. One of the main things that has put me off is the fact it relies on a battery and you have to remember to keep charging it and I didn't like the idea of the battery dying on me mid-brush.

I really do wish Oral B would stop making toothbrushes that have 2 pin plugs for when you want to charge them! Using this felt much the same as my older unit with the bristles getting into every part of my teeth for cleaning and on the occasions that I pressed to hard a light comes on as a warning to release the pressure a little so as to not cause damage to your gums. Each of these modes changes the motion of the head and the time to suit the users needs. Overall, this is a great toothbrush with some new features that I had not encountered before.

You have three settings to choose from: • Daily clean • Whitening • SensitiveIf you brush too hard the brush will tell you by vibrating harder and flashing red. After every 30 seconds, the vibration quality changes for a fraction of a second. Recommended. You'll have to buy an adapter to be able to plug it in.

The idea is that it vibrates to tell you that you can now move on to the next quadrant of your mouth. Press it a final time and it switches off.
