Compared to a sprung mattress of the same price, I think the foam is a better option - just plan ahead for keeping it open to rise+smell for AT LEAST 24 hours, probably more. Still, first night on it and my daughter says it's really comfy, and I think so for me too.

The "Silentnight 7-Zone Memory Foam" mattress is a good product for the money (200 quid for the king size). Which helps the painful spots.

For my 6 year old daughter's new high sleeper cabin bed, it is ideal for ceiling clearance and her small body and weight, but not sure how an adult's weight would affect its long term firmness. Problem now seen this week changing bottom sheet.

I will be buying once more as I’m upgrading my bed to a king or super king so it’s ideal! I followed the instructions and left it open for 24 hours before using itHaving read several favourable reports on this particular mattress, I thought it would be worth a try. With the counter balance of another person on the mattress I found that I was sinking less in to the foam and there was less movement.
