This is the first book I’ve read from this author and definitely won’t be the last! When I got over the beautiful cover sleeve and then removed it, and ogled at the more gorgeous gold cover, I eventually settled down to read.
This book has a catchy storyline, relatable characters who despite some being bad, you kinda root for, and the story overall has a great flow making it difficult to put down! !
Totally deserving of the 5 stars. Kenny, despite his previous mistakes, is a family man who is determined to get back on track to a nice, quiet family life, with some business on the side. His other family members, however, have other plans meaning Kenny gets drawn in to more and more drama.
I found it addictive and like a drug, I wanted more and more! The story of the Bond family of cop killers, and general bad guys grabbed hold of my attention and I was off on a reading marathon of the nearly 500 pages!
