Using Vaseline to some pieces it’s a very good trick I read. Did everything go great with the assembly, nothing broke even though the brown parts are thinner due to the wood. A challenging build, if your not an experienced model maker, but following the instructions it's fairly straightforward and doesn't take too many hours to complete. Took a few minutes to back track and fix it.

It is a very good decorative element. Sometimes very fiddly & require some force trying to be careful not to break parts. I wish the magnifying glass was a bit stronger to see further afield. .

Some of the brown wood ones got damaged but I managed to glue them together. Finally, do follow the instructions very very carefully! you can also push them together and it's fun to watch birds.

Very nice object to build using no glue. Beautiful model though and very pleased. Be very carful when lining up some of the telescope body pieces, follow the illustrations and instructions very very carefully or you may find the metal plate is on the bottom of the telescope, as I did. Very good product easy to assemble, the assembly instructions are clear and precise.
