And besides. This felt like such a different book compared to Crown of Midnight that it almost felt like it was written by someone else.

Really enjoying this series! It did just about save this book for me; I was honestly considering whether I had to rate this book two stars before that ending dragged it quickly up to four stars.

Can we talk about one thing though that seems to be a theme in this book that I don't love. I’ve only realized five books later that I actually have done them as their own posts so I might as well commit. SO MANY MOMENTS. I wasn't on team romance but all the, I claim you, sign me up.

With this third chapter, Maas expands the plot of the saga in an unimaginable way, making the first two volumes of the series simple introductory novels. The book came three days earlier than it said it was so was even happier! News about Aelin being alive spreading and the joy this brings people. The first time I read about them I have to say I wasn’t sure what I thought, but now knowing what is coming.

But for myself now, this book leaves me excited because I know that the next is my favourite in the series! What of everyone's fate? He’s everything that I think Caelana needed in a friend and hopefully as I get further in, a lover.
