At around 90 euros, the MB Vibe is slightly more expensive than the Wave Sole at around 70 euros (depending on the offer). The ball is hard because the silicone case only gives way slightly and is pulled over a solid core. It is really just a vibration, but it is clearly noticeable and it significantly optimizes the massage effect. It is of course not a vibration, as you would expect from a massage gun with a stroke of 14-16 mm.

The silicone case is pleasantly non-slip and skin-friendly. If you want a slightly less intensive, more extensive penetration of the fabric, you should perhaps try the MB Vibe from Triggerpoint; this green ball is slightly larger (10 cm diameter) and therefore slightly less intensive in massage effect, but just as high-quality, robust and compact as the Wave Solo. The operation is simple and intuitive, the battery lasts a really long time - I've never been embarrassed that the battery would have failed during the massage. It makes a robust impression and is really heavy, which speaks for its compact design.

However, both balls are recommended. There are three levels of vibration and the vibration is palpable. That is a big difference to a massage ball without vibration.

With a diameter of just over 8 cm, the Wave Solo is reasonably large, but small enough so that the massage works selectively. The Wave Solo from Therabody is a high-quality massage ball and a good addition to a professional massage gun such as the Theragun, the Hypervolt or the D6 Pro from Bob&Brad (my favorite).
