Bought this to test it out before we buy one as a gift for our grandma. It's like a warm, comfy hug that makes me feel so chill and toasty during the winter. However the white thing on the top right has come off and even though it still works, i’m worried that when it washes it wont work anymore. I’m finding Amazon reviews more and more unbelievable.

The timer on the control setting is probably the best feature for this blanket because you can literally set it and forget about it! I really like it considerately sets the options of different temperatures and times, so I can sleep with it on and it will turn off automatically. The size is like a large single bed and I really hope this comes in double bed sizes soon.

There's lots of clearly laid out (big enough for older people to read) instructions on the box and instruction manual - it looks like something you bought in John Lewis, perfect for gifting. .

This blanket gets surprisingly warm and is actually portable! I thought it would look cheaper but actually it looks alright.

The controls are very simple an intuitive (I didn't need to read the instructions but there are plenty, and important safety writing and credentials are on the label in case you bin the box). Great investment for winter, highly recommend! Lovely neutral soft grey colour, super soft material and it warms up really fast.
