Three ply flat resistance features a tough external layer of Duraskin backed up by a tough and lightweight Hardshell ply. After putting them on I went out for 65 miles the following day with a friend and no problem whatsoever. I'll try to post a pic above so you can see what I'm talking about. It's not a puncture issue from Amazon, this clearly looks like the manufacturing machine has the issue during injection on the mold.

If you're considering getting some of these, do yourself a favor and just go for it! I HOPE THEY WORK OUT GOOD AND LAST ME A LONG TIME LIKE THE PREVIOUS ONES I USED.

Without a doubt that staple would have spelled trouble for any other tire and I was just ecstatic that these gators lived up to all the hype I kept hearing. AS FOR SHIPPING, I ARRIVED THE DAY THEY PROMISED ME WELL PACKED. But they don't die.

My first set of Hardshells didn't have this, but the last set I just received have it on both tires. I already emailed Continental about the issue and am asking Amazon to replace the set I just received.

My bad. I then went to look at the other one, still in the packaging, and it had the holes as well.

The real win came the following week however. I had 4 flats on the factory tires before going to these. I only discovered the holes once I'd already mounted one of the tires.
