I used it for this particular job as I continue to use it I will update my view of this product & for now, it was worth it & great price! If you are not strong, or working in an awkward location where you can't get leverage, you might not be able to complete the press connection. It does leave little tabs of pinched copper on each side.

The tool worked well to make good press connections. I think this is a decent tool to do a few press fittings. I'm not going to get to picky about the smoothness of the dies, they could be polished a little smoother, but overall its about $2200 less than a m12 forcelogic. Pro’sAutomatic name-brand press tools are easily $1000 or more.

I got it to work by closing the press a little bit until it just barely fit around the tee, then I was able to complete the connection. I really enjoy this product. For something I plan on using occasionally I can live with doing a little polishing and fine tuning myself. It works great.

Someone else had mentioned difficulty getting this to work around the short end of a tee. I recommend this product if you're an experienced DIYer with strong grip strength working in an open space. This doesn't work very well in tight spaces, most notably because of the comment above.

It did well in using the Viega Pro Press 90 elbow. ConsYou need quite a bit of force to make the press connection. I see what they're saying, IF you try to do it with the press wide open.
