The main body is made of plastic, largely recycled too which is a nice touch. 4mm per meter it seems. Switch it on and it projects a green crosshair around the room which is brighter than a DeWalt version I have. I hope you found this review helpful.

🔧 The lockout function allows the laser to be used at angles, increasing its versatility for different projects, such as staircases. Even for somebody like me who just does the occasional bit of DIY, this is a great gadget to have in the shed to make lining things up easier. That's plenty accurate enough for anything I'll need it for and far more accurate than using a spirit level.

When switched on, the default mode is for the level to project vertical and horizontal lines with the pendulum enabled. So pricewise, I would go with the other one. ⚒️ I also noticed some nuisance laser artefacts generated from the top turret that should be ignored.

💲 This is all good so far; however, there are some negative aspects that should be considered. The self-levelling function operates smoothly and quickly, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and reducing setup time.

This will stop them flashing if you hold the laser level at an angle by choice, 30 degrees for example. It’s the typical Bosch green colour. 4mm per metre, it provides precise measurements, perhaps surpassing the capabilities of traditional spirit levels. It's still fine to use outdoors, though you might find yourself repositioning the laser more often so that's where a tripod really comes into it's own.
