Galliano Black Sambuca is one of the most recognised Sambuca in the world, given it's unique and significant bottle it always manages to be visible in cocktail bars and the like. It is particularly refreshing and thirst-quenching in summer if drunk with water and lots of ice. Alc 30% Best enjoyed, neat, with ice or the classic \u201dFly\u201d coffee bean, or added to coffee. Reservations are made that the text may contain errors or omissions, in italics. It's made using a well guarded secret recipe, and is anise in flavour. Sambuca Imperiale Bagnoli is made from Badiana anethole, high percentages of which are found in the essential oil of anise and fennel, from which it is extracted by fractionated distillation. The particularly refined, new packaging enhances its perfect transparency which is due to the exclusive use of extra fine castor sugar in the preparation of Sambuca Imperiale. To this is added a concentrated solution of sugar and other natural secret ingredients. Nose : Sweet and persistent, with an unmistakable flavor of star anise.

My friend loves it ideal on price 59, so I couldn't resist. I'm very excited to try it, as shots or with lemonade.

Edit: We tried this on Christmas Day and as sambuca is already quite an overpowering spirit, you don't really taste the raspberry, so it's lost a star. Christmas will be a little merry! I didn't realise it has a pourer inside too which is a nice touch though. ------------I got this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend so I have no idea what it tastes like at the moment (I'll edit my review after we've tried it).
