As above, baking bread inside a pyrex dish (as a dutch oven), negates this issue and the bread bakes well all over). The media could not be loaded.

I've measured temperatures inside this oven in excess of 250c, which is ideal for baking bread, and with it being small, not only does it heat up quick, it only uses about half the electricity of my main oven. For a table top mini oven it's just about perfect for a variety of cooking for 1 or 2 saves using the large oven and the air fryer is adds extra dimension to your cookery skills

I have made other breads in the oven including baguettes and cobs (rolls), however, I have found that because you generally have them on a tray of some sort, the bottoms don't get baked at the same time as the tops despite the rack being in its lowest position, which is right over the bottom heating elements. Mostly the air fryer. Despite not being that high, you can get dishes in that are around 12cm in height, which is ideal for the pyrex dishes I use for baking bread.

The Russell Hobbs 26095 Express Air Fryer Mini Oven is a much better fit for my small kitchen. Seems to be a happy workaround of sorts!

This oven heats up at an astonishing speed, quicker than a regular oven, it was on for just a couple of minutes and was already hot. Finally, I purchased some silicone roll up baking mats to use inside this oven vs using the baking tray all of the time. The only real downside of this oven is the very short cable, we had to move things around on our countertop to put this directly under a socket, whereas we wanted it a little further away and didn't want the addition of an extension lead. It even comes with a wire rack tray to make 2 shelves, a regular baking tray and the chip pan to use however you need.

So impressed and amazed at the capabilities of this tiny oven. A quick solution I found was to use the other rack in the top position and use the tray that comes with the unit in order to block the direct heat from the upper elements, which clearly produce more heat than the lower ones do. The grill and air-fryer are great too.

Not used the Air Fryer function as I have a Ninja Dual which I primarily use for such matters (I might add, the Ninja Dual also bakes a decent bread! I purchased this oven to replace a huge microwave/convection oven that recently died.
