I found a suggestion somewhere online, I don't remember where, but find a usb micro angle cord to use instead of what comes in the package. I don't mind having it constantly attached if it will extend the life of the keyboard. com 6 ft.

I wish it were wireless, but I can live with the cable. Hopefully this is something that will get worn in. The keyboard is wonderful, but the micro-usb connector fails relatively quickly if abused(which is easy to do accidentally! The backspace and forward slash keys are slightly different sizes than in the laptop, and there is no keyboard backlight.

I have had this setup for around 5 months and it has worked well so far. I'd probably avoid braided cables for this application because they resist twisting very well, and the result will be bending of the micro-usb end.
