just get the book, you won't regret it😊! All in all I like the book and it was worth what I spent but I ordered a new copy and I thought I received a new copy, but once I started really flipping through I realized there were what looks and feels to be pen lines from somebody tracing, and pen/marker ink smudgesI'm going to request a exchange if possible, otherwise a refund and then buy it again from a brick and mortar store (I typically don't buy books online for this very reason, but it was a good deal at 13 bucks)Rated 4 out of 5 because the book itself is good but receiving a used book in lieu of a actual new book lost a star I used to draw a lot of anime figures back when I was in grade school.

The media could not be loaded. Christopher Hart has a great sense of humor, and I found myself laughing while looking through this book for the first time, and I like to have this book with me while drawing, as it's great for reference. Whatever your case is. I wish I had this guide back then - would've made a huge difference in improving my artwork.

Christopher Hart explains each step really well, so that makes it really easy to follow. It has so many different poses and shows you how to draw a simple base, and then add details. Love it!
