all were pretty dark, but it might just be my luck. then tried a third time. Contrary to other reviews, it does work well, however it forces you to perfect your levelling and tamping to achieve an even extraction and prevent splashing.

This 54mm portafilter suits my Breville bambino plus well. Fits perfectly in my Breville barista pro. Well made, with basket fitting tightly. Nice to have a bottomless filter for finding out your weak spots in getting a proper load and tamp.

Perfect fit for Solis Barista Perfetta. The handle will need to be tightened down when you first receive it by simply turning it once mounted in the group head. Also got the matching tamper. got a replacement that was nearly black, could hardly see the wood grain at all.

I have had no issues. The wood handle is a dark brown with a almost black grain variety in a matte finish. I worked as a professional barista for a lot of years, and this is a great portafilter!
