The weight is well balanced so you are in complete control and it's so satisfying to just either gently chip away at the ground or take a stronger slice to remove roots and overgrowth. My overgrown front garden was out of control, an eye sore and I wanted to dig it it all up & start again. Was a good workout but I don't think I'd have reached the end with just a spade plus this was so much more fun just getting tore into it and having that satisfaction at the end when you see your cleared space. The tool arrived at 7am on the day of delivery, I started working at 8, and I'd managed to remove all the turf by 10am.

Good 👍 Doesn't take that long and if like me you worry your posture may be all wrong, it comes naturally how best to stand after a couple of attempts. My back's not too clever at the best times, but this gave me no problems whatsoever - so much less effort than a spade for sure! they could have fitted a fridge freezer in there and i only ordered a digging hoe.

but not to worry, I found an easy solution. I was worried I would mess up and lose a toe but it was as easy as it looks!

I saw a YT video of someone using a digging hoe & thought it looked quick & easier than digging. Amazon needs to sort out its packaging, the boxes your orders arrive in are always over the top size-wise but they've taken the biscuit this time. Just fix a hose clip to secure the metal blade - it won't damage your handle and easy to remove when replacing blade. After my fix - 5 stars.
