It’s an excellent unit and I can highly recommend it. I was looking for a power pack that delivers on three fronts. It charges my phone (note 4) 6 times and is quite slim and compact, you could carry it in your pocket if you wanted to little bit on the heavy side for that but it is possible.

Oh, and courtesy of the two USB 2 ports, you can also charge two devices at once with no slowing down of either. I bought this powerpack in 2015 from Anker and I have to say, it’s a beast.

Clearly, the regulator is intelligent enough to sense when the internal battery pack is fully charged and switches the charging current off rather than allowing the pack to overcharge, potentially damaging the batteries, shortening their lifespan and overheating the pack. However, the only difference is the smaller battery has Qualcomm quick charge and this one doesn't so it won't be able to provide the same charging speeds. Its not ideally a daily carry around unless you who have a lot of devices to charge, for the everyday user I would use a smaller capacity charger, and this would be for long journeys and to take on holiday.
