Didn’t notice this with any of my other really old vinyl. warm & very detailed. But as I did my online research I found a brand I wasn't even aware of.
Rega rb300 decoupled stub+ weight. One of the best mods I've done to a tone arm couldn't believe how much difference it's made especially in the high range now has that clean shimmering air bass seems to be further bass exstention but tighter, not slot of money for the improvement on my DIY modified arm.
Having reached a point of satisfaction a few years ago, most of the money I have spent on my system has been replacement of worn records and moving parts. Last week, for some reason I suddenly got a 'bug' to upgrade my phono cartridge. So I have, indeed bought happiness--at least until I get hungry. ;) I hope this review will serve you.
