Simple fill in with the pen and blend with the brush. First screw the end and release around 3mm of pencil (no more otherwise it will snap)Brush your beard up and down in hair growth direction. It works quite well to my surprise, when I have it long enough you don't notice it but if I cut it a lot if you notice the areas with less hair and with this it looks great eh
