I find it's pretty fun to play with, the kids love him but the baby is scared of him! If you have enough his S- L- O- W speech, you can turn it off by pressing the hand again (2 beeps will be heard as a turning off notice). Now after some time I got used to him and my daughter too.

She also was sceptic from begin but now she even hugged him ;) Sloth is very cuddly due to his body shape, round and fluffy. Simply press the button once on his left hand (hear beep once). It talks to you back very very slowly. His hands and legs have flexible wire inside so we can move them up, down, side ways, bent it half way, etc.

In my opinion this toy is slightly expensive and doesnt do much. Its imitation of alive animal mimics. At first I thought that the battery is about to end when the sloth started to speak but then I remembered that this is all about his slow sloth-y speech.

By the way, the sloth came with batteries included. On the other hand it is a bit freaky, it's eyelids are not attached to the mechanism properly so you can see the plastic as it blinks and it sounds like the batteries are flat. The media could not be loaded. On the box says that this toy is for children 3+, but because not all kids will accept this toy I guess, in fact it's a bit scary.
