Once I’d gotten my head around what was going on and I understood it more I wanted to know how Alice coped, how she got through things and finding friendships and actual romantic relationships! Wow! While the book has specs of romance in it. This is where it threw me.

Hayley

I wasn’t prepared to be propelled into how deep and emotional this story was. Many people finding her strange, including some family members. Going through life she learns to accept this special ability and with the help from special people around her she learns to slowly love it (most of it)Seriously if you read this book keep the tissues close by because Cecelia Ahern I applaud you!

Crystal

She has the ability to write such powerful books I felt the connection I had to Alice was deeper than just a fictional character. I literally loved every page! To some it feels like a gift but to a young Alice it’s a punishment.

Me

There is a heavy touch on mental illness and abuse that Alice experiences through childhood and adulthood. This book follows a young alice who has a gift of seeing peoples aura through colours! Not necessarily what I expected it to be, but a definite should read, especially for fans of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

How much it affected me to the point it took me longer than a week to read because I had to process what was going on. 𝗪𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚. To the point she struggled socially and mentally. Definitely a 5 star read from me

I never read blurbs, if the title catches me, cover catches me or it’s one of my favourite authors I’ll read it. Following the life of Alice Kelly, living with the ability to see every emotion of others whether she likes it or not.
