Super excited to learn. In other words, even with its undeniable complexity and with all the clunkiness I'll never forgive, this book is AWESOME. Well worth the money if you're looking for a unique TTRPG experience!

Pathfinder 2E really offers a lot in the ways of customizability with more to come! The bestiary. Same goes for the beautiful Caladrel, seer elf wizard or the ex-citadel guard Keller.

Mini review for the curious (opinion generated after a quick read through the basics and a few character gens) :)1. I will encourage the use of the intended structure in my first homebrew, since it works well with the sandbox style and give depth to characters' backgrounds. well sometimes the numbers are apparently heavily inflated (Level 16 characters would have about 38-40 BC and enemies of that level roughly that level too) has a specific purpose which is the system of successes or failures: When reaching the AC of an enemy you get a hit but now a critical strike can also consist of achieving not just a 20 in the spin but not to beat AC by 10 (46 in total vs 36 BC enemy = critical strike). Cosmetically, aesthetically, this is a beautiful book.

The opposite also applies: a critical bug applies when the difficulty of the save roll is failed by 10 or less of the DC (DC 35 and the player gets 25 or less in total) where additional effects are applied. This and the beginner box complement each other perfectly if you want to continue the adventure with characters other than the prefabricated ones. In actual play I don't highlight the division that much, but it's ok to have specific activities and sections where each character can shine.

something game made the game much clearer. Fun to read, tons of inputs. This Proficiency Bonus applies directly to almost all character aspects: Salvation Spins (Each class gradually provides training on these spins) Attack Spins, Armor (10+ Armor + Dexterity Bonus + Proficiency Bonus) as well as all skill spins such as Athletics, Stealth, Socialize, etc.

I don't know. It's not the end of the world but 🤷♀️ While this feels a lot less "math" and more "finder" and while I perfectly understand the main target audience, I still believe that they could do something more about reducing complexity. However the title says "includes mat" but there was none?
