iv had the old version which is better but this is still good i brought a camera tripod to attach it to me cot. On opening the first one to arrive there seemed to be a flaw with the unit - there were coloured diagonal lines across the video screen and no amount of turning on/off would clear them (see picture). For that, you have to go to the internet where there is a web-based instruction manual.

It has a temperature on it, which we find really useful and it beeps if the temperature drops to being too cold. Also, the picture quality is really good! Overall, a very good system and perfectly adequate with a 3. These were on offer recently and I bought two, one for us for when the grandchildren visit and one for my daughter.

Previous older model broke in 2 years, this is great value and the night vision is excellent. The unit comes with a kind of flexible mount (like a Gorillapod camera mount) that screws into the base of the camera unit.

Excellent. It is everything as described and even better. A big gripe is that you have to go into the menu system to adjust the volume of the screen unit - which is 'clunky' in use. I never use any features apart from the cam, so spot on!

This unit was returned to Amazon as faulty and a replacement was sent. Usually switch off/switch on rectifies this but if you need to go into the menu system it does take some figuring out. 99, RRP: £179.
