You can hang a whirligig hanger on them too if the top hook is narrow enough(the kind that looks like an upsidedown umbrella frame for hanging socks etcThese hooks can also grip very thin objects and hold them to the line themselves so act as pegsThey are only plastic so best not leave them on the line when not being used else the sunlight will soon weaken them. I find hanging my washing this way makes tops and shirts more crease free as they dry so less ironing needed, I do this with dresses too, no pegs marks on anything either. These are just so simple but brilliantly effective, they're going to be great for hanging on my washing line in the summer. Twisting the clothes line in and around the hook keeps in place much better than clipping regular pegs onto the clothes hanger.
