The display is large and easy to read. In my opinion, the FX-85GT X is a great improvement from the previous generation, FX-85GT Plus. Easy to use and gives clear answers.

The solar panel will reduce the usage of the battery by prioritising solar over battery and if there is no battery then as long as you have enough light the calculator will work but if it is low light then it may run slow due to the lack of power. It also has a fraction key, a lifesaver for those who struggle with converting fractions to decimals.
