The spay is perfumed - not a very nice smell, but it does remind you to ventilate the room which is important as pesticides can damage your health. We have had carpet moths for years! I may have to buy another can. Killed moths instantly.

I'm very happy with this spray as it did what I needed it to with zero messing about. I unfortunately had carpet beetles due to a gap in my window frame and they were in my rug and in my settee.

You can smell the spray but it's like airfreshner and isn't offensive. Found it useful for getting rid of other unwanted insects I used the rest of the can in a 2nd round this week because I saw it works and want to make sure they're all dead! I sprayed it on my carpet at night and next morning I saw all the hidden bugs were dead.

On the can it recommends several light sprays - I imagine anything strong enough to kill in one application might be dangerous for domestic use. Item came on time, easy purchase. This spray smelled wonderful. It doesn't seem to have stained the carpet.
